HEALTH CARE

Some Health Insurance Providers cover costs (or a portion of) for sun protection products and services with a written prescription from a licensed health care provider. This includes window tinting. Check with your Health Care and insurance providers to see if you're eligible.

Many homes are governed by Home Owners Associations (HOA) It is not uncommon for there to be restrictions that prohibit certain types of window films from being used within the housing community.  Generally the restrictions only apply to windows at the front of the house, but not always.

It is the Homeowners responsibility to adhere to their HOA's by-laws and receive approval from the HOA prior to Preferred Window Tint, LLC installation.

• Allow for 30-90 days for window film to fully cure and dry.  
• Do not wash windows until 30 days post installation, can adversely affect the film curing process. 
• Never use Windex, vinegar or ammonia based cleaners. They will eat into and damage the film.
• Wash windows using a soft micro fiber cloth and mild dishwashing soap. Ex: Dawn or Joy.
